The Sacred Forests in Côte d'Ivoire are being destroyed by cocoa harvesting. These lands are used as burial and worship grounds for local tribes, and they are being stripped of their history and value for a profit.

 

Kakao Pati Chocolate is an ethically harvested chocolate company which donates proceeds to rebuilding and replanting the Sacred Forests. illustrations and patterns used in  the packaging are inspired by the Godufu, Baoulé, and Maafe tribes of Côte d'Ivoire.
